Mini Rigs of Doom Four

Not sure if it qualifies as "mini", but compared to my old SWR gear, it's very light and portable, and can bring the doom, if cranked. Fender Rumble 500 + 210 ext cab....

I'm not one for rear ported cabs, such as these Markbass, but I am intrigued by the Quilter Bass Block. Always have been, never tried one. Especially since it's the product from QSC's Pat Quilter and the QSC products stand for excellent bass rendition.
The Bass Block 800 and one Markbass 102P cab is surprisingly formidable. I have a 2nd 102P and with both, you can handle just about anything short of a full blown rock show. The Bass Block is the epitome of simple but it's very powerful! You'd never know to look at it.

I've been running a Quilter BB800 into a single Markbass NYC121 for the last 5 years or so and it handles anything that the bars/restaurants I play in can take. Yes, I can easily lose a volume war to drums or guitars - but by that point, EVERY customer would be driven out.

And this is without cranking the volume particularly high.

RevSound RS28, seems to defy the laws of physics with how much clear, rich volume it turns out. Plus, it really lets the character of the amp come thru - I don't hear as much difference btwn these amps with my other cabs. Ashdown OriginAL 300 sounds big and deep, the EA micro sounds super clean.

Cab is just under 20 lbs, Ashdown is ~5 lbs, EA is under 3 lbs.

I'll happily post this again. Love the RS28V, handles the GK500 easily.
