Mini Rigs of Doom Four

Still intrigued by that Quilter! Never had the opportunity to try one.
I guess this one of mine is mini, sure sounds huge for its size though! Genz Benz Shuttle 3.0-10T with matching extension cab.
that's sweet. I'd like to try the MESA D350 with mine too. (which incidentally we have the same tolex cover).
I haven't had the opportunity to try the TE 2-8, but the LDS 2-8 I had could, depending on just how loud you mean.
I know loud is relative and with front of house support you really just need a good monitor sound on stage. But sometimes I need to fill the room from the stage as well and keep up with a relatively loud drummer and two guitars with Marshalls.

I have not owned or heard an LDS cab but I wonder how it compares to David's work at RevSound. I think David's builds, while customizable, follow a standard build and design. Does LDS have standard models or does every cab start with a clean sheet of paper?
And it looks like there's a third driver in your 2x8, no? How heavy is yours?

The band I used it in was a classic rock/pop band (two guitars, singer/keys, drums, and moi on bass). No Marshalls but we were loud enough that almost nobody sat near the stage at any club we played at. We had our own pretty nice PA system (Allen&Heath PA12 mixer, QSC K10s and a pair of QSC K-Subs). Everything went through the PA most times, but not always. From my perspective I believe that small LDS cabinet did respectably well.
LDS is a custom builder in Seattle, and is very well known on TB. I don't have that 2-8 cab any longer (the third driver is a 6.5" 18Sound mid driver, the 8" drivers are Ciare Neos) The weight was 51 lb. It was probably overbuilt, actually, but was the proverbial brick
house 
. That cab was eventually replaced with a LDS cab with the same mid driver, along with a pair of Eminence 3012LFs, which is also no longer in my possession. What replaced that was a pair of mirror-imaged 1-10 cabs with an Eminence 3010LF and FaitalPRO 6.5" mid/high driver in each. Don's prices are very reasonable and his builds are top-notch.LDS - Low Down Sound (Don Oatman).

This video is from before we got the K-Subs for the PA.
It can get very loud, but I do not know about a band situation. I only play with my church, and we have a great house system. So, the amp is more for a monitor than anything else.
However, the tone and sound are top shelf.
MarkBass LM250 Blackline with Revsound RS210. It's loud but not crazy loud, but it sounds huge.
I run a Mesa D-350 and a Subway 210. It’s a pretty small footprint on top of an Auralex SubDude. I think the even more compact SW112 is the way to go for an ultimate mini rig. DI pluggable and carries well at small outdoor gigs.
Hey all...have to show off my latest mini rig of doom. And it is truly all those things! I've become quite enamored with Trickfish stuff and the little 10 and 2x8 are perfect for my needs. Light, articulate and just plain fantastic so far whether playing quiet and small or big and loud.

Lots of doom from this little beast. I'm kinda floored every time I use it by itself. And my volume and low end needs seem to be more than the average bear.

I love it. cleaner and more articulate than some of the other tube DI's I've used but still warm and full. kinda reminds me of a tube mic preamp. Triode mode is clean and fast, pentode mode is big and a little wooly and just as fast. I use it as a tube DI (before the amp) and it has a second XLR out that will drive the snot out of a power amp.
I'll see what I can find online. Do you use it to run to front of house when gigging and to your Eich?

I know Jake already responded, but to second his recommendation, I really love the 2di4. It's quite impressive. Here is a link to my review. I also own their Tantra head (2,500w), which is just amazing.
Current living room mini rig, a custom 10FE200 2x10 isobaric cab driven by a GK MB-200. All in, 200W into a 300W cab, weighing a total of 25 lbs.
