Mini Rigs of Doom Four

Trace had a huge number of configurations available. I recognize this one. Unfortunately, it was introduced at a time when stacks with 4x10s on top of 1x15s were king. The SWR 2x10 combo s were considered more for clean studio work.
I see, I am just glad someone else recognizes it because like I said until I saw this one I never saw one like it before that and just assumed someone custom made it with all the Trace parts. I am glad to hear it's a legit model from the 80's/90's. I am not going to open the can of worms that is the 4x10 mixed with a 1x15 however like I said my combo is a beast and I can get some great tones out of it along with plenty of volume. With DI/mic support it should be good enough for most gigs however if there ever comes a time I have thought about the idea of throwing a hopefully same era Trace 1x15 under it. Thanks for chiming in and educating me a little on my combo :)

NAD - just picked up a GK 250ML. Yes, I know it's a guitar amp, but it's about the only piece of gear (read: amplifier) that my wife will keep in our apartment. Not much for lows, but I'm planning on re-wiring my Franken-SWR cab (has Hartke aluminum drivers in it) to make it stereo and power it with the "lunchbox" amp. It has a nice built-in chorus and gets GK loud.

Hey All,

Some people have asked. In the first pic is the bought DIY 10 cabinet just as Duke wrote it up. I replaced the speaker with a 2510 and new carpet and grille and corners. You will also see it with the new one I am building.

Great cabinets with the speaker upgrade and 2 cabinets for less than the price of a 1x12 you might buy in the store.
