I've got a fully refurbed 1971 Traynor Mark II (2x SED Winged C KT-88's running at a high plate voltage for around 80 - 100 watts) that I'm ready to part with. I don't want to break TB rules since I'm not a contributing member, so I'll say no more.

KO

P.S. And I'll bring some nice ale or another.

You are bring that to the gtg, right?

The Mark II is a head only. It's in good working condition. I had it recapped and replaced the tubes.

I'll bring the Traynor Mark II to the GTG. I'll probably bring the Fender BXR410 4x10 cab as well. The BXR410 is a sealed 4x10 cab with a tweeter. I pulled the crossover and popped Jensen MOD 10/50's in. I was trying for a bit of an SVT vibe. I'm sure it's more than I want to carry to a gig. The cab with the original components (and a drawing of how it all goes together) and the Jensens is also for sale.

I'm curious. Is there a site I can read about his stuff? I tend to be pretty orthodox in my speaker designing. The physics of loudspeakers is pretty well understood with a bunch of competing goals and tradeoffs. I find it challenging enough without having to go into "blood of a virgin goat at the new moon" territory.

I'm a skeptic in that I think that those who don't take an engineering approach go that route because they don't understand the engineering approach. But I'm genuinely interested. If nothing else, I've got a fair number of cabs (a lot of raw speakers in my basement) in various stages of design that I'd love to find the right cabinet maker for,
