Anyone heard of Steve Renner of Stevie Renner and the Renegades?
I'm auditioning for his new band tonight, apparently he was/is big around here.
I looked him up a little and it seems he went to prison for tax evasion, which makes me wary of working with the guy. But if he has a good rep I guess it's cool.

Yeah I've never heard of him either, and I'd like to think I'm pretty up on the local scene.

Judging by his website he's been off the scene since 2005, so who knows.
He's got some vids on YouTube which are alright

And, I've never heard of Stevie Renner either.... wait, did he have a craigslist ad a few weeks back asking for "Bassist For Blues Rock Recording Project?" I did talk to him, but they were looking for a someone for live performance not just session work - and I was interested in session work. He didn't seem to fishy to me...
