Wednesdays are a good night from my perspective.
I suppose people should respond either way so we can get an idea of ratios.

Today at practice, my main bass stopped working. I heard a loud popping sound and then nothing. At first I thought it was my cord, but I switched to my backup bass and it worked fine. So, I need to find somebody in the Twin Cities area who works on basses, particularly the electronics (this bass has an old active EMG preamp.)
Any recommendations?
Is your output jack loose? Could the battery connection be bad? I mean at the jack (most use a stereo jack, routing the - voltage to the ring and then to the pickup or preamp from the sleeve). I have seen this on a few active basses. Unless you plugged in a stereo cord...

Good idea..
Let's start with seeing how many folks actually show up .. then count how many are big talking jive turkeys.
on that day? How do we know if they are in fact turkeys of the jive variety?
