yeah, that was t3h l0lz. i'd moderate some poor sap here right off the site and they'd promptly scamper over there anonymously and post crap about me on the "amusing basses" page that the bb folks set up about my doubleneck. i felt like a rockstar.

Yeah, it got weird. I do miss Bunny Bass' crazy bass gallery. They wrote really entertaining descriptions and the comments were hilarious

yeah, in ~2000-2001. once polls started appearing, so too did stupid polls. and so did the mighty carrot come forth, from humble earthy beginnings, to dominate the opinions and political processes at talkbass.

When I finally got the interw3b, I remember spending a lot of time ogling guitars and basses at GMW, Bunny Bass, and Ed Roman's place.

Before I knew who John Turner was, it seemed like the owner really didn't like him. Found it a bit odd.
