Not counting chickens yet. But they have been the two hottest teams. Looking forward to tonight’s game with Kemp starting instead of Puig, even though Puig hits lefties better. Puig went in the doghouse Friday night when he got thrown out on a delayed steal attempt. Roberts wasn’t pleased. Many of us who tired of Kemp during his first stint with the team are now very happy to have him back.

You are proven right. I took the family to that game, and it was a long, cold one - mid 40's with light rain and fog over the last half. Unfortunately the Rox could not find a bat. I'm disappointed that in the three games, they scored a total of two runs.

BUT - in perspective, this is the first time the Rockies have gone to the playoffs in back-to-back seasons. Last year they lost their wild card game. This year they won that game and got into the Division series. It may be agonizingly slow improvement, but it's improvement.

Congrats on a good season. The Braves have a lot of young talent and no doubt will be in the thick of it for the foreseeable future.

That has to be one of the most disappointing team sport seasons I can remember. That team was so loaded with stars and they were cruising along beating everyone in sight.
Counteract that with the '95 Mariners, which is up there, if not #1, as the most exciting team sports season I have ever been around. It's right there with the '91 UW football team.
