I don't get your reference. Maybe I'm a little slow today....
Oh I'm just being gregarious. There are innumerable threads here on bassists complaining or comparing wood thicknesses in necks. "Baseball bat necks" even.

Well THAT was fun. Tied for homers in a WS game, and set a new record for runs scored with no one in scoring position.
And all of a sudden, the biggest underdogs in the playoffs are 2 wins away. I think the Astros learned what the Padres and Braves found out. Citizen's Bank Park in the playoffs is a totally different animal.
Yeah they weren't guessing. I couldn't pick up on anything but you'd better believe the Phillies did. Harper called Bohm over for one reason. Coy answers in the post-game interview were pretty funny. Postseason baseball subterfuge!Smolts was thinking that Houston's pitcher was tipping, which would explain that home run derby.
It's hard to root against Dusty Baker. I hate the Astros. Agony.I've not been a Astros fan since the garbage can days. But Dusty, man, I want him to get a championship. I just love that guy. If Bryce would shave that stupid beard, i might cheer for the philly. Hope it goes 7 just for fun
True. Placed the bet at the beginning of the season. He's done much the same the past few years. He uses it as a promotion for his furniture store throughout baseball season; the deal is that you spend $3K or more on a mattress set/bedroom furniture, then if the Astros win it all you get double your money back. This deal was in place all the way up until the playoffs started. Once the playoffs started, he was still running it but you only got your purchase amount back, not double.I just heard on the radio that there's this guy that owns a bunch of furniture stores in Texas and goes by "Mattress Mack". He supposedly bet 10 million on the Astros to win the WS at 7.5 to 1 odds. 75 million if the Astros win. I hope he loses the 10.
