I'm hoping last night was necessary to help get the Rangers focused on what they need to do, an effect that losing has had on both Rangers and D-backs.
Let me guess - as a Giants fan, you would be rooting for Tommy Lasorda, no matter what, right?As a SFGiants fan it was tough for me to pick Baker or Bochy. I like them both but I like Bochy better. If Dave Roberts was managing a team in the playoffs it would have been and easy decision about who not to root for.
I sure would have been happy to see him stay with the Mariners. He's bounced around a lot since they traded him for some guys who are gone now. He's still the same guy, though, and still good.

I liked Lasorda better than Dave Roberts. Many SFGiants fans have a grudging respect for him. We loved to boo him and he was always a good sport about it. I remember hearing the Dodgers referred as Tommy Lasorda's meatballs.
It was a bummer to see Garcia leave the game like that last night. He’s been so impactful for Texas.

Texas did it. 10 straight postseason road wins, surpassing the Yankees. New all time postseason record.
Texas has only to win 1 out of the final 3. As much as I'd love to see it back home, I'm really hoping they can do it tomorrow for their final road game for the year.

Lots of Mets in the playoffs and World Series this year. Too bad they were playing for other teams.
I've been rooting for this god forsaken franchise since 1977, never thought I'd see my little Rangers win the WS. What a night!
Yeah, I've been a long suffering Rangers fan since our dad took us to their first franchise home game against the A's in '72.
I'm gonna wake in the morning and think it was just a dream.
Congrats to the Rangers on a really impressive World Series run! Seeing that first championship win as a fan feels awesome. I was over the moon when the Raptors won the NBA Finals for the first (and only) time in 2019. That’s unforgettable.
