It's not over yet!As a true blue Dodger fans, and with the long standing rivalry between the Dodgers and Giants, my wife and I both high fived after last night's game with a Dodger sweep of the 3 game series.Go Dodgers!

You are correct Slo, but it is off to a good start. It's not over yet!![]()
Okay, the Dodgers outplayed the Giants and deserve all three wins. They are an excellent team but so are the Giants. I respect the Dodgers but not enough to throw in the towel. More games to come and I am sure we will both be paying attention. You are correct Slo, but it is off to a good start.
Yep, and part of the fun is rooting for our teams. That said, in more recent times, the Giants have won more World Series than the Dodgers so I respect the Giants too. (Of course, I am still mad about those cheating Astros who took the series from the Dodgers)Okay, the Dodgers outplayed the Giants and deserve all three wins. I’ll be rooting for them and Corey along with you.Rangers get today off before coming home to face the hated 'stros after taking the first two series against the Cubs and Rays 3/4 and 2/3.
First of two series against Houston over the next 10 days.
155 games to go.
The attendance will no doubt be better in Sacto. I just read where the place they’re building in Vegas will only seat 30K.Tough series for Toronto in Houston this week. They got no-hit in the first game, one-hit in the third game, and out-scored 19-2 overallAt least they eked out one win!
edit: Just saw this on The Athletic…

Great to see you hanging around again Stevie. Go Dodgers! As a true blue Dodger fans, and with the long standing rivalry between the Dodgers and Giants, my wife and I both high fived after last night's game with a Dodger sweep of the 3 game series.Go Dodgers!
Wow, if everything that couple says is true, that is terrible.Gotta admit, this is ridiculous. The Dodgers couldn't even avoid drama with Shohei Ohtani's 1st HR with team. And embarrassing. There are people in the organization who need to go. It starts at the top. And I’m looking at you, Friedman and Gomes.
Yup, not impressed with Dodgers ownership, the way they responded to the Brian Stowe tragedy left a bad tasted in my mouth. They did their best to avoid responsibility.Gotta admit, this is ridiculous. The Dodgers couldn't even avoid drama with Shohei Ohtani's 1st HR with team. And embarrassing. The Stowe tragedy occurred during the disastrous McCourt years. The current ownership group is certainly better than he was.Yup, not impressed with Dodgers ownership, the way they responded to the Brian Stowe tragedy left a bad tasted in my mouth. They did their best to avoid responsibility.

But some things they do infuriate long time fans. Like now having the worst hot dog on the planet when they used to be great. Understaffing concessions. Not cleaning the restrooms as well as they did before. And treating that woman who caught the Ohtani ball like crap. We only have tickets to eight games so far this season. We used to go to a lot more.[/QUOTE
I guess I am still pissed the Stowe incident because he is totally jacked up for life while the tow thugs who attacked him our out of prison and back to their lives. I know it has nothing to to with the new ownership group but it is a sore spot with me.
I am glad the new group is better but they still seem to treat their fans like commodities with profit as their primary motive.
Yep, when Frank McCourt, a horrible dude from Boston, bought the Dodgers, Dodger fans and local sports media hated him too as he ran the club into the ground. That said, he was basically run out of town here in L.A. and to everyone's liking. And how he treated Brian Stowe was typical of his SOP which disgusted most Dodger Fans and the media. Then, basketball legend, Magic Johnson, put together a buying group who now own the Dodgers and things are much better again.Yup, not impressed with Dodgers ownership, the way they responded to the Brian Stowe tragedy left a bad tasted in my mouth.
