Angel Hernandez's retirement came after a meeting with Michael Hill, the Senior Vice President of On-Field Operations had him questioning Hernandez's ability to see and comprehend correctly. Angel got so worked up that he stormed out and slammed the door behind himself. It took Angel 10 minutes to realize he was in the closet...His announcement of retirement came soon after.

Giants lose to the Diamondbacks. That is the sixth game in a row they have lost. Still leaving runners on base, last night they left nine men on bhase. Caps off to the Diamondbacks, two hits to our rookie S.S, that should have ben caught and two SF pitchers struggled and they jumped on it to score eight runs. That is what good teams do. Lots of injuries but that is no excuse, other teams deal with injuries too. They went on a tear before this losing streak and built my hopes up only to destroy those hopes in the last six games.
Having seen any real promising developments since Farhan Zaidi took over as G.M. Losing faith in the current regime. They get a lot of players off of the discard pile from other teams, hoping that someone will pan out.

Cards salvaged one in Houston 4-2. Cards only threw 96 total pitches, which is practically unheard of these days. Yesterday both teams threw over 150.

The Dodgers managed to beat the Pirates yesterday after losing the first two of the series. They’re heading to New York to play the hated Yankees who look to be the best team in baseball at the moment. Thankfully, the rest of the NL West is below 500 right now.

The Giants beat the D-Backs 9-3. Reading headlines like "Offense Finds It's Groove." It will take more than one game to convince me of that. There are exceptions, Chapman is hitting well and I believe he is legit, also Matos has developed into a great hitter and his fielding is getting better.
