Two Yankees fans have been banned from attending Game 5 of the World Series after interfering with Dodgers star Mookie Betts in Game 4.
Way back in the day, when Reggie was with the Angels, we were at Angel Stadium when the Yankees came in. We were in the cheap seats. There were a couple of Yankees fans who tried to set the hair of an Angels fan sitting in front of them on fire. They were ushered out. Not sure if they ended up being arrested.
15 minutes of fame. Jerks. To hell with them.
Yes, well things change. I was relaying the reporting of what they told ESPN last night. I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that while the WS is 3-1 Dodgers right now at some point later it won't be what with Time moving forward and all that stuff.Not according to ESPN.

Beyond the fan interference, which happens much too often these days IMO, but which in many cases I can *maybe* attribute to excitement, adrenaline or whatever these guys actually bragged about *planning* for this. Compounding it is they grabbed and twisted Betts arms while he was pretty compromised and risked seriously injuring him. Reaching into the playing area and mucking with the ball is one thing but mugging a player is quite another as far as I'm concerned.
Those guys' tickets for tonight's game were given to a young cancer patient and family. So some good came out of it.
It is assault and battery. He could file a police report and a civil lawsuit. But it’s Mookie. He won’t. I love the guy. We are so fortunate to have him as a Dodger.

I'd like to report a kidnapping - Yankee Stadium...a high-school baseball team has kidnapped the Yankees and is now playing in the World Series...and not very well, I might add.
Man. That sucks. Kike again started it all. Co-MVP IMO if they win.

I don't love the Dodgers, but I can't stand the Yankees. Congrats to LA, they certainly earned it. New York couldn't compete with them .
