They don't play the Mariners. The Mariners make no sense this year. They cannot hit. Until they do. Their pitching is mediocre. Until it isn't. They just don't make any sense. They are giving me agita. The World Cup has given me a couple weeks of relief from this bizarre season of mediocrity. A friend and I have decided that they will probably manage to get into the playoffs, but that's as far as they are likely to go. They won't get to the championship game, let along the World Series unless they get their act together. How often does a first place team only have one representative on the All Star team? That tells you everything you need to know.

Everything you said applies to the Jays as well. Aside from the fan voting sending a lot of them to the All star team.:roflmao:
