right. cause i was looking at these:

but im not sure about how the quality is. it basswood, but that can work sometimes. and it looks solid and it seems to have headroom for upgrades but i really dont know any of this for sure, so i wanted to ask around.

I just got a Cort GB 34A. I think new ones are under $300.

Well, the new Dean Hillsboro basses should be out soon & are pretty cheap, two of them have MM 'buckers, or you could try to find a second hand Dean Sledgehammer.
