MM Sterling Question

So I went to my local GC for thier usual Once in a Lifetime End Of Year Sale. I happened to play a Sterling. I loved the neck on it. Real easy to play. LOVED the feel of the finish on the neck. Loved they way it fit in my hand.

My question is: Are all the necks on Sterlings identical, or is there different profiles and such. Basically what Im asking is, if I buy one off ebay will the neck be the same as the one in the store.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I just picked up a Sterling HH on ebay, and I absolutely love the neck. It really reminds me of the Fender "Geddy Lee" jazz bass neck. Found this one on the bay today, really cool color: Invalid Link Removed

Happy Hunting!

I hate the Geddy Lee neck (too flat for me) but I love the MM necks.

Music Mans are the one bass that seem to have almost no variation between one and another when I play them (quality, sound). At least, modern ones, the older models (70s, 80s) had quite a bit of variation until they hit on whatever formula it is they use now.
