If you could mod a 450 dollar Datsun and be able to look like a Corvette and hang with the Ferrari when you're done with it wouldn't it be worth doing?motleystew said:I've often wondered about this myself. It reminds of me of some of the dudes you see with a 450$ Datsun beater from 1979 but they have spinner wheels and low profile Pirelli's which run almost 3,000 per axle! The one benifit I see with modding a less expensive bass is getting to learn modding with a hands on approach and not having to really worry about messing something up. Maybe this will start a trend on who can take the least expensive bass and mod it the best;kind of like the tuners who take scions and other Japanese compact cars and mod them like crazy! Might be fun at that!
