Double Bass Modern Indie with double bass?

Anyone have some new music suggestions of "Americana" bands that strictly use double bass?

Thanks man. It's a fun group and the producer we use for the recordings is an amazing musician himself so he's great to work with in the studio.

I believe all those were all recorded with 2 AKG 414's on the bass. I'm always pretty adamant about never taking a line off the pickup unless absolutely necessary (usually for acoustic reasons like isolation). He also used a 414 and one Beta52 kickdrum mic and got a really nice sound.

Those tracks are from a soon to be released EP and full-length so I can't send that yet but we have 3 earlier records. PM me your address and I'd be glad to stick one in the mail for you.
