(modest) 'Wall's-O-Sound'

After seeing Masterbass's (see below) Markbass gig-rig... I felt a bit inferior... so I thought I would 'put my current 'Wall-O-Sound out there'... this is my theraputic tool to calm my inferiority complex!!

Maybe others have a (modest) wall-o-sound, to show, as well?! Please no 'mega-rigs', as my ego is very fragile- today

Love that Markbass combo stack! Everytime I go to Guitar Center I always plug into that tiny Markbass 8" combo. It is a great sounding little box!

WOW... that is so 70's!

Here was my Peavey 'wall-o-sound'- from the... 70's!

You could literally create a free "wall of sound" by going to a corner of a room pressing (lightly) the body of your bass on one wall and the headstock on the other wall. My uncle used to do that in the 60's, left his amp at the gig space, couldn't afford another amp for practice.

Don't know if it is "quote" wall of power....... But after you fire it up your vision blurs, heart goes into defib and there arnt any walls left standing ;-)

Still have much of this, albeit in a more convenient and flexible grouping of modules, a few different preamps and power amps, and a couple of new new 6/1 and 2X4 top boxes. I have a pretty fun guitar synth rig that goes this through, and sometimes processed vocals as well.

Gee... that certainly isn't what one would call a 'traditional' bass amp!!

Hey TonyP... thats quite nice! ... one thing... can u put one if the GK heads on the right stack? ... and retake the foto... my OCD is kickin in... having problems!! (those are all 2x12's- rite? at least that has symmetry!)

Nice! I've recently had a few 4x10's... Aguilar & Markbass... as nice as they sounded- I wasn't fully satisfied... so I'm, pretty much, using 12's... almost got a GK- recently... probably will be 'testing out' one soon! Thx fer the pics!
