Wow.
That's an early to mid 80's, I believe. There's no serial # on the headstock and the logo is early.
Truly a one of a kind!

I don't even like flea, but I still have two of these, the slickest bass ever.

Both black/black, 2004 models. Basically twins!

Mmmmm...Now if only I could find a lane poor for that four string, i'd be gas free for life, until I could get my hands on a quantum six, then i just need a ...oh wait.

Okay so I succumbed yesterday and bought me this Nice Q5, its a 1995 with EMG's. It has volume control, blend, Bass boost, Mid boost, treble boost, active/passive switch and on/off switch. 18V active circuit.

My question is what is that pre-amp ? Its a circuit board with 18 wires connected to it. Covered by a protective plastic I didn't want to tamper with. No markings that I can see.

Any help would be appreciated and please add me to the MOB :bassist:
