Modulus Mob

well I switched out the stock Gotoh Modulus badged tuners for Res-o-lites, and I'm pretty impressed. There's a lot less neck dive, and I think the res-o-lites are better constructed (the posts are more substantial, and don"t wiggle).

I just switched mine out as well. Yes a noticeable difference. And yes the posts are like twice the size. My biggest mistake was replacing the bridge with a Hipshot SOLID BRASS one, ouch i added weight there I didn't know it came with aluminum when I got it in 2004.

Quick update regarding my TBX 5. Pat Wilkins was able to polish the neck back to gloss. It should arrive on Wednesday! :bassist::bassist::bassist: I can't wait to get my hands on it... I do have a question for you guys. The bass was made in 1989. It certainly looks like a TBX, but I read somewhere that Modulus didn't officially start using the TBX designation until '92. Can anyone confirm this? And if it's not a TBX, then what is it?!
