Excellent. I didn't realize they had changed so much from the original design, but they are definitely an option.
The GB7 tuners are the old kind. Then they went to the GB707 which are a new style and then GB350 which look almost like the previous model but are the res-o-lites

query for those that may be in the know.
as you can see, there appears to be a 'crack' in the modulus neck (1994, pre-truss rod model).
has anyone here owned a modulus where this occurred / appeared? it doesn't look like a precursor to the fretboard separating from the neck. could just be superficial with no structural effect whatsoever.
a previous owner of this bass from a few years ago mentioned that the 'crack' was stable and that it basically looks worse than it appears.
so, what say you? much ado about nothing or a ticking time bomb? thanks!
I believe the way it worked was that the “U” portion of the carbon fiber neck is attached to a “cap” which then has the fretboard attached to that piece. So it just appears that the cap has probably just separated a bit from the “U” channel. Gonna need more deetz though on the bass
