I have a question, if you don't think it's out of place. I've had some inquiries lately about making some Turbo Sweet Spot basses, and even though I'm the one who made it up, I don't have any records. If anyone has one, especially from my era, I'm looking for the pickup placement dimensions. Particularly, measuring from the 24th fret to the center of each pickup. Thanks for your help. If you like, I'll let you know if I make any.

I dig the look of the Turbo's, but where and how I play, I wouldn't be able to sit my fingers on top of that front pickup. I sure do like the way they look though!!

They are. The examples posted have the turbo option, thus they are "sweet spot turbo"

The idea was to leave the sweet spot in the same location, and adding another pickup would be analogous to “turbocharging” it. I’ll leave it for the owners to describe the usefulness. My original idea was it might be good for a fretless.

Turbo in the bridge minus the Sweetspot position gives you this on fretless Q6.

Here's my old 1997 Turbo. This one had a 2tek bridge. Hope this helps!

So, thanks for everyone's help. I went ahead and added it to the design database, and since I always make 2 of every configuration, there will be an extra GGi5-SST available in a couple of months. I'll post a pic of the body when it comes out of the woodshop.
