Modulus Mob

I have a question, you guys seem to know what’s going on. I don’t follow too closely what’s going on with Modulus, I wish them well. I’m very proud of what they are, but I’m puzzled. Someone has hacked their page on Facebook, and no one has done anything about it. Is there something going on where Modulus is currently not paying much attention?

So I got this email today:

We are aware of the hack and are doing what we can to recover the page. Unfortunately there are some tricky layers to this one. If we're unable to recover it, plans are to start another page. Thank you for your concern and for reaching out.

Regards,

Tony Cimperman

Changed the PU's from CS/CS to DC/DC last week. That change is more dramatic than I expected. DC has a much brighter and more compressed sound than CS. While CS had that mellow and smooth tone, DC has a punchy and focused tone that makes you think you will never going to produce any Motown-ish sound anymore. With Darkglass, that sounds like a whole new level of aggressiveness. Much more improvement. Anyway, I found it sounds good with some jazzy solos too.

I really like its tone more than CS. Well... CS was lack of power and didn't produce enough focused sound I wanted. DC shines in the B string also that I can clearly hear its note.

The DC's have more growl and punch that serve for the rock/ metal I do in one band.
I have a '66 Jazz and MMSR5HP for for the corporate work. The Darkglass would probably
get me in trouble w FOH...

I agree with Drew and love. Expendable income for everything is harder to find now, everyone worrying about the economy.

Yours is a great looking axe, glwts!

That said, I'm not a good judge on the pricing, I lucked into mine at a Music Go Round out here for 1050. It's been my number 1 since I got it.

I just sold mine recently. Similar price. It was up for quite a while with many tire kickers before it actually sold tho. i think expendable income for high priced basses isnt what it used to be

Errybody broke

price is good. Beautiful bass

Strange times we’re in…

Strange times indeed.
Last bass I purchased was 2017- a MMSR5HP.
My Quantum5 is averaging 3+ shows per month pulling into the lead over the SR. Generating revenue taking a higher priority over collecting.
Prices since the pandemic on many items have been artificially inflated. And what in the past, was expendable income has become discretionary income redirected towards long term investments.
I pd $2800 for my new Quantum in '98. It's nice to know it might be worth close to that, but Just in Reverb.com the ones below that are finding their way into people's carts. His is in that range and a pristine example. There are other Resources like Facebook marketplace that might move it quicker.
