Modulus Mob

I saw a quantum 5 that I loved that had the EMG j pu’s. I like the old emg’s. it was in well worn condition. Probably an 88-89. I guess if it played nice (it was awesome) and had been played a lot (it had) and no problem's yet. It’s a good one most likely?

My main bass is still the Quantum-6 SPX that Geoff built for me in 1988...EMG J pickups. I did swap out the electronics a couple times, eventually settling on an ACG/East EQ-02 filter-based preamp.
You can have this bass when you pry it from my cold dead hands.

Trust Micro Tilt??? - BQuad

Dumb question... do you trust the Microtilt on a Modulus neck? I normally shim. I'm unsure if there's a metal plate on the neck side of the tilt (I've not taken the neck off)

I'm setting up a Turd BQuad (it's Aguilar guts - they tossed the bromberg stuff).

My Flea doesn't need any tilt.. this turd does.
Funny … I got Aguilar OBP3 in my B quad as well I only did it as I was changing the bridge and the OG was fried

Any of you guys see the Dimarzio Colossal (EMG40) pickups?

That’s cool to finally see a 5 string pickup

But I play I between my pickups. Sometimes over the bridge pickup/ sometimes closer to it
Sometimes right on the neck
Sometimes behind the neck
It’s hard to hear what it sounds like just with both pickups and only playing by the neck

Second the solderless thing is funny!
