Alright! This one don't suck, eh? Pretty easy on the eyes?

Keith had a bit of a struggle with the finish on this one, so it had to be disassembled and sprayed again to fix a minor blem. That caused a slight delay, but it finally shipped yesterday. And it should be in sunny CA... this morning! Roscoe and I decided to split the difference on Next Day shipping to get this one in Tom's hands before the weekend. Kudos to Roscoe!

And we can't wait to hear your thoughts, Tom! Personally, I think the back of this bass is the bee's knees. I love the way the wenge stripe in the neck morphs into that dark horizontal patch of myrtle on the back. So cool! Of course, the front is no slouch either, it's a really beautiful bass all around. Congrats!

Well, all bets are off this time of year, too. I pity the UPS guys this time of year. My guy was just commiserating a bit yesterday how it just gets worse and worse in the run up to Christmas, and then the beginning of January is almost as bad with a ton of returns. He says from Thanksgiving until mid-January, their life pretty well stinks.

Bass delivered 6PM my time.
After playing bass for the last hour and a half.
Where do I start?
Pictured do no do bass justice.
Fingerboard and body match perfectly.
Body wood is simply out of sight.
I now get what everyone says about Roscoe necks.
They do play them self.
I love the wenge neck center.( and feel it does add to tone of bass)
As for tone, the solid myrtle body is tight, compressed, with growl for days.
This bass really cuts.
The 19" scale neck is a breeze to play. (glad I go it)
This is everything I hoped for, and more.
Big thanks to Greg, and Gard and Keith at Roscoe.
They stepped up and sent bass next day air so I would have it for a gig on Saturday. ( On there dime)
Talk about customer service!!!!!
Rocket Music, and Roscoe simply rock.
Much thanks.

Yeah, but Next Day is usually guaranteed by 10AM... there is a Next Day Expedited service or something that is guaranteed be end of day, but it only saves you a smidge on a bass sized package. I figger if you're gonna go all out, go all out :)

...well, apparently Mojo lives in BFE, and the ONLY UPS overnight service was "Overnight"...and it even said on the WorldShip proggie that it didn't have a guaranteed delivery time.

:atoz:

...guess that's what happens when you live in Weed, CA?

:ninja:

Yeah, your UPS dude, wherever you are, gets his bones every year right about now...our guy here at the shop has told me about getting home at midnight, then up and out for 7 am the next day, for weeks on end...
