Hi,
Another update on bass.
This unique sounding fretless just got better.
Threw on a set of TI flats on bass.
WHOW !!! Gave bass more bottom, but keep everything else.
Not woody, or loose, at all.
Don't get me wrong, bass sounded great with roundwounds.
But was surprised how nice flats sound on this bass.

I played TI's (only) for a very long time - Flats, Jazz rounds, PowerBass and Infields. I have Infields on my Hoyt fretless 5 (tuned E-C) right now. Great strings - expensive, but long lasting. Switched to DR's on my 4 & 5 string Roscoes. I'm looking forward to the Black Beauties on this new Roscoe fretless build.
 
I have a set of TI flats that I took off the used Roscoe fretless I briefly had. Maybe I'll slap them on mine when it gets here - though the main reason I'm getting it is to cut the heads off small rodents with tone weaponry. I've got flats on the RA...
