Monster Cables sued a mini-golf course over the Summer, if I recall correctly, called Monster Mini-Golf.
After a google search here is quote from an article on some of their outrageous lawsuits.
Wait, really?

Has Monster sued Metallica yet for "Some Kind of Moster"?
Wait, really?
Hi, BruisedOoze.
Not to point out the obvious, but that particular lawsuit is actually the point of this thread.
Just my 0.02

Wow. *laughs* Just tar and feather me now. Serves me right for not reading the OP's original articles
In my defense though you could have stopped me with posting this when you replied to my last post. Either that or you know exactly where I was going.![]()
I really don't like Monster. Some jerk salesman convinced my mom that she needed a 1000 series cable for her BluRay player. I'm going to return it and chew him out. It's a 768P TV and he's recommending a cable that is beyond even 1080P...
Not to mention the same cable is on Amazon for $8.95. **** Monster, and the stores that carry their cables exclusively. I hate when salesmen are willing to lie through their teeth so they can make a couple bucks, causing electronics-ignorant people to waste hundreds of dollars - and I don't need someone without a high school education telling me how to set up a home theater system. I'm all for corporations maximizing profit, but this is just unethical, and its the really the foundation behind Monster cables. At least sell them for a fair price, maybe $20 or $30 instead of $5.

That was my favorite part as well!"If you sue me, the case will go to judgment, and I will hold the court's attention upon the merits of your claims--or, to speak more precisely, the absence of merit from your claims--from start to finish. Not only am I unintimidated by litigation; I sometimes rather miss it."
What a badass
