Monster power or Furman?

Oh I understand. But if there was a chance of a piano spontaneously exploding on stage, then I will show you a forum of pianists that would be buying Monsters New Explode Away Spray...
I disagree. I think that as soon as the Monster marketing department figures out that they can sell Explode Away Spray, you'll suddenly see a lot of FUD on forums about exploding pianos. Monster solves problems that don't really exist, that's my whole point. For what you pay for a Monster power conditioner, you could buy a smallish UPS system that not only gets rid of power spikes, it would let you keep playing your bass *even if the power went completely out*.

There's not a single Monster product I can think of that isn't solved by something else that is 1/4 to 1/2 the price.

OK man after reading this.. your question about brand is simple to answer.. Furman is industry standard.. Monster is second biggest name.. I don't use furman because most of their designs don't do anything an led flash won't do..

I use a monster battery backup rack unit.. because if the power goes out I have power on tap to properly shut things down.. plus it has noise filters like the furman stuff.. I like function or branding..

Goodluck!
