My first step would be setting the 215 cab vertical, but given the Kappa 15LF and EQ settings on the amp, I’m guessing that midrange articulation is not one of your tonal goals.
I used to have a Sunn 215 that I retrofitted with a pair of Kappa Pro 15LF, and I ended up blowing both of them.
That was an expensive lesson, shared in the hope you can benefit from it.
My suggestion would be to investigate the tuning frequency of that Mesa 215 to make sure it’s a compatible “home” for the 15LFs.
Yeah, as I mentioned, I didn't choose the LFs, the previous owner installed them. I didn't even know they were LFs until I opened it up to see which Kappas he'd installed. If it were up to me, I'd probably go with KappaLites, and may replace these with those eventually.
