Yes, I think the Orange Ninety is a very nice Phase 90 clone.

Please tell about your Sweeper experience as it progresses. It's a real fun to play with, but so far I haven't found real use for it with my bands.
The point here is to show off mytwo brand-spanking new Mooer pedals.
Anyone giving out numbers? Or have I resurrected a zombie thread????
Tried some Mooer guitar overdrives on bass today for an extensive time (USA P Bass, Ampeg SVT):
Mooer Cruncher - great Grindy pedal. Can do full on dist tones, but great on low gain settings. Has a low mid colouring but retains low end.
Mooer Hustle Drive - smoother OD than Cruncher, but not necessarily in a good way. Seemed to have more character and presence in HP mode. Not as cutting as the Cruncher IMO.
I tested these against two boutique branded distortions and went home with a Cruncher. Moral: you just need to try pedals in person. People often talk garbage on Mooer and similar Chinese brands and favour more 'boutique' pedals, but try stuff for yourself!
Get the Cruncher if you want a usable, slight dirt to full on distortion madness. Dont let he fact that it's a 'guitar' pedal put you off, or that it says 'distortion'. It works great as a slight OD too.

Thanks it took about an hour to run the cables, repositioning where needed because of connector size (liking monoprice short 90 degree patches!) and where inputs/outputs are etc. I wanted them to be visually in order too. It was also a lot easier once I freed up the real estate the Morley Dual Bass Wah was using. Love that thing but wasn't using it enough to warrant the size and weight - and look how tiny the Mooer Bass Sweeper is anyway!
Sorry no sound clips yet - I'm still having a tough time dialing in the sound I like. I get it momentarily, and then a small adjustment elsewhere throws it outta whack. Swapping out my fretless jazz for my P bass (which has a higher output) is whole other story too with the differences in tone and output levels. I'll get it where I like it and record a little something for you soon though. When I get it right, I really like it.
The smoothie is so awesome. So very awesome... particularly well suited to my preferred compressor settings, where the key word is "Subtle". You can use it as a limiter which is more or less what I do, you can fatten up your tone and add tons of sustain, and you can even get a little squash if you wanted that for some reason. Mine's dialed in subtly and I feel works best in that context, and it helps boost tone back to life if a couple of the other pedals are on. It's not as useful obviously if it's before pedals like some OD's or the sweeper that rely on dynamics and changing volumes / inputs because the compression obviously levels it to a more uniform volume, but the flip side is that it has actually been useful before the sweeper to get the SAME sound from every note regardless of dynamics (which I wanted in one case).

Is superbender like a whammy? How is it with bass? Does it cut bass? How's its bypass? I was thinking bout getting bass whammy but its pretty pricey pedal just to doodle with it once in a while. So maybe mooer will do the job.

Late reply, but the Sweeper has been my most usable stand-alone filter. I don't use it too much, but it's there when I want to kick on a funky solo sound.
This is mine.
I've ordered a couple of the offset plugs off evilbay and I think I might also order a couple of straight connectors to see if I can make it tidier. The board is home made, never quite complete, and just a hair too small.
The pedals I use regularly are easily accessible - - tuner and compressor. The Mooer Eq is also easy to hit. I don't use the Pure Boost a lot, so it's a little less accessible.
The volume pedal is redundant - - my amp goes to11...
The beh******* ultra shifter/harmonizer is on the b side of the a-b switch, and continues on to a guitar amp. I bought it as a cheaper alternative to the electro-harmonix micro pog so that I could try the 'Royal Blood' thing.
I'm thinking that a smaller tuner is probably in order. Has anyone been able to compare the Mooer tuner to a tc electronic poly tune mini?
