They work very well together. My only wish with them is that I wish the Tender were capable of the more dirty, synthy sounding octave like the OC-2 does. It is almost too clean, more POG than Boss, if that makes sense. There is a demo video up on YouTube where Andy plays those two together. I'll see if I can find it.

Thanks for the video, I'm replacing my Pog with it so that's actually what I wanted to hear

I'm actually running two octave pedals on my board right now. The Tender for that clean octave thing, and a Behringer OC-3 clone for the boss dirty/synthy thing. I run the behringer in the loop of my VT deluxe, so it's only in the path when it is being used. So far it is OK.

Thanks for posting that video. They are making some cool stuff. My only Mooer pedal right now is the Tender Octaver and I love it. Has the POG sound for a much lower price and takes up much less real estate.

I have a Sweeper too, but...
haven't you guys got any problems with loss of low end when the pedal is engaged?
I think the pedal is great for when the bass can be more prominent in a funky way, but in a band setting I always feel like I lose some bottom when kicking in the Sweeper. Right at the moment you don't want to lose any bottom...

I am thinking about putting it in a loop with a clean blend, but on the other hand that would be a pity seen by the nice pricetag and the tinyness of the Mooer itself.

I play a PJ bass with BEAD tuning. Out of the FOG, Thunderball, Black Secret, and Green Mile which pedal is best suited for low tuned bass. I play modern alt. metal. I really like the idea of these little pedals and my MXR Bass Fuzz Deluxe is a little too fizzy for my taste. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Mooer Tender Octaver has great tone and is a very useful pedal

I just got one today. Working well for me, sounds identical to the Micro Pog. About the only difference is no wet/dry outs, but I never used that feature anyway.

Ninety Orange, Ensemble Queen, and Thunderball so far. Can I get a number? Anyone tried the Hustle Drive or it's Eno clone the Trouble with bass yet? Also any good Micro compressors out there?

Update - 2/13/17:
I have added a Bass Sweeper and a Tender Octaver. I have a Madbean Afterlife that was given to me. I'm thinking of adding a Mooer power supply too. I'm developing an unhealthy obsession with Mooer mini-pedals.

I'm using it as a road octaver, mostly using it to double the bassline an octave up a la 8 string bass, but also occasionally for the low octave in place of my OC-2. I like the OC-2 much better, but the Tender is tiny and travels in a suitcase easier than a Pitch Fork and OC-2.

It is quite funny I bought it for the low octave, but have actually used the upper more. The upper for me has quite a nasal character when used clean (unless I cut a lot highs out of the input signal) so I've found I use it into drive to simulate rhythm guitar, and also it sounds really cool before a fuzz

I think I had wrong expectations (kind of expected to use a bit of sub octave for thicker tone) but have found cool uses for it as more a special effect.

Ordered a Tender Octaver #II yesterday. From everything I've read on TB, I'm going to like it just fine. I'm starting a country trio, and I'm planning to kick it on with an upper octave, to fatten things up a bit during guitar leads.

Is it too early to get a number, if I haven't actually taken possession yet?

Also, does anyone know the power requirements? It doesn't come with a wall-wart and I was unable to find out what it needs, other than "standard Boss 9v". I guess that would be tip-negative? How many mA?
