Double Bass Mooradian bag + cat pee = GRRRR.

Nature's Miracle works OK, there's another similar product called Urine-Off (I think) that worked better for me. We used to have a cat, and he peed on a section of an antique Persian rug several times before we noticed. Treated the stain probably six different times, soaking the product in and letting it air dry each time. Smell got fainter and fainter but would still come back on damp/humid days for several years after the cat was out of the house. Use a black light to find the affected areas and soak the hell out of them with whatever product you choose. Several treatments will be necessary to really clean, but the only thing that will make the smell go away is treatment + time.

That's why we don't have a cat.

Nature's Miracle for cats is good stuff. The other stuff mentioned is called Urine Gone I believe. I use the NM for dogs and it has worked for my two old puppies and the occasional mistake. But use it as directed and be prepared to re treat as necessary.

I wash my moordian gig bag a month ago at the laundry mat with some tide & downy..,,

Work out great...,
Bag smells great now.

One thing to do is once the bag dry. I turn the gig bag inside out then dried the inside for another hour.
Work out great.
But my issue was not pet related just some funkyness.

You might want to pet odor stuff first....

We use some kind of enzyme spray (by Bissell, I think) and it does a fantastic job. You do have to apply it rather liberally and make sure you dab it with a dry cloth/rag/paper towel after about 10 minutes. It's not terribly expensive, though.

The replacement cost of the new cover is going to be your rental fee for the loan of this bass. Let the owner of the bass know what is going on in advance so that he may have some input on what replacement cover you are going to buy. Obviously, with a bad cat on the loose in your house, you won't keep the bass in it until you are on your way over to your friend to return his bass. Burn the old Mooradian.
