MOQ for Private Label String Run

Hello TB,

A 'how long is a piece of string' question for you all!

I have a small operation that sells FSOs ( ugh, another one). It's a passion project, but word of mouth and a slow growth in demand means that I'm at the stage where I can afford bring almost everything in house (shed). That is, except strings.

Before I start reaching out to companies, I thought it would be worthwhile asking on here if anyone has any insight on the private labelling process? Specifically, the MOQ and unit price for custom flatwounds (i.e., not merely another companies flatwounds with a different label on them).

Anyone have a ballpark so I'm not completely shocked when I ring around?

Cheers!

P.S. I know this is completely OTT. It might be a non-starter depending on the price but I'm a man with a vision.

I have no experience with private label strings but with several other private label products and the answer is "It depends".

It depends on what exactly you want, what the potential manufacturer needs, what price you are willing to pay etc.

My guess is, that it is not worth your time, but without talking to a manufacturer that is just a guess.
