MORE BOTTOM!

Hi. I was hoping to elicit some opinions from you fine folks.

I'm currently running an '08 swr redhead and while I do enjoy the tone I find that I need more power and most importantly more low end than the tens in the combo want to give.
The swr people recommend their 350 watt 8 ohm cab. The redhead gives 400w @ 4 ohms, 525 @ 2.67 ohms (which is where I'd be if I ran their son of bertha 8 ohm cab) and 650w @ 2 ohms. I'd really like to use the full potential of the power amp (650w), plus it seems kind of useless to throw 175 watts at a 350 watt 8 ohm speaker, not that I'm worried about under powering it or any of that crap, but does any one make a 4 ohm 1x15?.
Maybe it'd be best to go with two 1x15 200w 8 ohm cabs? I'm not really interested in going with any more 10's.
Years ago I used to run a Traynor Mark II head into an old Kuhl 2x15 cab loaded with E.V.'s and I could not turn it up much more than a little under half on the pre gain and about 2 o'clock on the master and it would seriously scare the crap out of me it was so freakin' loud , and that Traynor could not have been more than 300w ss.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanx.

Just add another cab. 112, 115, 212, 215, 210, 410. There are plenty of options, just pick the combination of speakers that works for you. Sounds like a great excuse to drag your rig around and out try new stuff. Most of all, have fun with it.
