Mosrite Celebrity Bass

I have a Celebrity Bass with a 2 screw neck. Most Celebrities I see have 3 or 4. Is this an early model? Can anyone tell me what I have here ?

A 2 screw neck would be very unusual for any instrument let alone a Mosrite. I'm not familiar with the Celebrity bass but every other Mosrite usually has the peanut shaped plate and 4 screws. The caveat here is that Semie Moseley would build one-offs and customs so there is no way of telling for sure. I agree that the Mosrite Forum is the best place to post your question.

From what I can gather the first run of Celebritys had 2 screws and the neck was morticed somehow. 3 screw version followed and lastly used 4. The one I have is a very low sn from the first batch.
