Most Elegant Bass That You've Seen?

How does it sound? And how does it feel? Mayones is on my short list, maybe in a couple years.
It sounded great, it has the Bartolini jazz pups and the 3 band selectable mids ntmb pre. With the wood, one might think it could sound like a Warwick, but it just sounded like a really great Jazz bass. Very comfortable.. its a 34.25" scale so for me, it was just enough to tighten up a .125 B string to my liking. Nice balance for a +10 pounder. It was the bass the drummer requested the most. Now for the bad, horrific, sickening news. I snapped the truss rod years ago and it sits now, waiting for me to care enough to fix it. Or the money. Strangely, the neck is still very playable and I adjust the action throughout the year with different gauge strings. Other than that, it still plays very well.

+10 pounds is a deal killer for me. The bass I play now is 10+ pounds (the one in my avatar) and it sounds great, but I pay a price after a gig with it.

I like the look of Mayones basses, but if I can't get one at or under 8 pounds, I'll probably have to pass.

Yours is gorgeous, broken truss rod or not.
