Most expensive amp on the market today

Mesa at $2850(ish) wins the prize for price and mass(ish) production. Reeves is only direct plus four mom and pops right now, so I don't think that's mass produced. Orange, Ashdown, and Ampeg are all close seconds with $2400 offerings.

Missed the "mass produced" part...sorry about that! I was not aware that Mesa was making an all-tube amp - it looks very cool!

Wow, I'm looking at the product page
Bass Strategy Eight:88 | MESA/Boogie®

and it seems to have NO MENTION of the amp's output wattage .. I only see "FULL, HALF" and LOW" wattage talked about. REALLY, MESA? I have to go find the user manual for this information - and then scroll all the way down to PAGE TEN of the PDF file, to get a wattage spec on a BASS AMP?

That's peculiar, to say the least.

I guess I am the only person left on the planet who didn't already "hear it on the gravevine"...

Go to any site that sells it and it's actually in the title of the product.

The actual product overview/info page shows it too.

Bass Strategy 8:88 Bass Amplifier Head | MESA/Boogie®

I play an 8:88 thru 2x berg NV115’s and for what I do I want for nothing.

The amp does everything as advertised. Can get very loud when set in
“ use all the tubes force, Luke “ mode. Remember that’s 465 Tube watts boys :)

Kinda took over my Thunderfunk 550B’s role as primary ( also a great amp ).
And yes, it was not cheap!
