True. Misread "Tube" in title. My bad..You do realize this thread id 7-8 years old?The 400RB is not a tube head.

I liked the old tweed Peavey Classic 400. Wasn’t as loud or fat as the Fender 300 I sold it to buy but sounded great and was trouble free while I had it.

The Weber 6S100 DIY kit makes the best bass amp I have heard to date. With a couple of tweaks.

my mesa d180 has been rock solid and provides a great tone whether overdriven or super clean, I'm kinda surprised that they aren't more coveted due to cliff Burton in Metallica having used one
