Mothman Rises from the Ashes....Again!

Yes it's quite windy here today. I was just out walking my dog and saw the weirdest cloud formation I've ever seen forming over Westminster

Is it wrong that as the hour gets near, my heart seems to beat slower but stronger, I feel warm and at ease and I catch myself smiling ever so slightly at shadows? I welcome Mothman's gradual envelopment of my soul (well, what's left of it anyway. I think I sold part of it in high school for some Ramones tix).

The powerball is nationwide (well like 40ish states)

You know, I've read and re-read how you're going to do this picking, and I'll be damned if I can figure out how you'll be doing it (I don't do lotto/powerball/etc) - -

I guess I'll just trust you to not violate the perverse honor of MothMan's Curse.

So, did you pick it up?
Did you meet... HER???

Powerball numbers are 1-59. We had 25 people go in and get assigned 2 numbers each. Whatever the first ball drawn is
Saturday night is the winner. If the first ball is 51-59 then it goes to the second ball for the winner. Quite simple actually, but to be honest it would have been more fair to assign instead of 1,2 then 3,4 it should have been 1,26 2,27 etc. As it is more
common for numbers in the middle of the spectrum to occur first.

All 59 balls have the same odds of being drawn first. 1 in 59. The reaming balls have the same odds of being drawn. 1 in 58. The odds that the first three balls being drawn in numerical order have the exact same chance of the first three balls being prime numbers in reverse numerical order.
Random odds don't care a pair of fetid dingo's kidneys what the number printed on any given ball is. The appearnce that a middle spectrum number being drawn is only something we perceive. We assign categories to things. But the odds are better that a number between 20 and 40 will be drawn before a number between 1 and 5 so it's easy to think that. This is how the lotteries make so much. The odds in getting 3 numbers at all in this drawing are 359.6 to 1, and for that you only get $7. To give an idea of how improbable this is, pick up 5 six sided dice and write a number between 1 and 6 on a piece of paper. The odds of you rolling 4 of a kind of that number, in one roll, are 310 to 1. The lottos feed off of false hope and prey on the poor hoping to get to a better life fast.

Now having said that I bought one ticket. I had an instant win of $2, so of course, knowing the odds, I rolled it right back in. So I'm a lock.:D

Babies pukin' toddlers peein' no time for photos
(tension building! Hype hype hype!)

Oh your champion went prepared in combat fatigues. Did he have to beat the seller in single combat and take the Mothman from his cold dead hands? Did he have to force the Mothman into submission? Oh the tales would be legend.

Ah. Well then. Go #10!!

As you have seen by Sonny's pictures the Mothman has finally release my soul!!! It has had me under it's control for years now. I would try to escape, but it would always take over and make me not list it for months at a time. I kept fighting and would list on Ebay, then Craigslist, but if it didn't sell it would put me back in submission. I think it all started because I bought the "Cursed Red Rickenbacker" and I'm sure it made me get the Mothman. If the winner of the Mothman is local and has it presented at a bar not far from here, for a price she will pose with the Mothman one last time with the winner. I'm excited to see how it all turns out. I only wish that I thought of this great idea, but I'm sure the Mothman would not let my poor brain come up with an idea to make it go away. When I'm sure it has released my soul, I guess I can finally change my profile so it no longer states that I'm the one and only owner of the Mothman, it made me put it in there but we all know who owned who.

I am measuring it for a gamera tort guard now.

Gut reaction:
The neck is like a 2x4 and it needs another pickup in addition to the bridge pu
It looks awesome but there is almost zero fingerboard radius.
I have to weigh it tomorrow but it wieghs more than both of my G&L basses so I'd say 20+ pounds. Please be local I can't imagine what this would cost to ship. Guy told
Me there is a local shipping store that packaged and shipped 20 basses he sold recently. I can get quotes if need be during the week.
2" width at nut
3" at the 22nd fret
1-3/8" top of fret to back o neck at 12th fret
1-1/4" top of fret to back o neck at 1st fret
35" scale
4foot 2inches tall
21-1/2" at it's widest point.
The body is 1-3/4" at it's thickest

Guy said he bought it from Dark Hollows in Ohio who has disavowed any guilt of making it.
I have to measure later
