Mouse droppings at work..

The place I currently work at has some mice. I worked in the warehouse until last week when they transferred me into the office. I do mostly paperwork stuff, but the makeshift office they assigned me to is more like a semi-closet with a computer (it's the technians' break room). People frequently leave their food and stuff in there, so there are mice. I haven't seen any, but I find their "presents" everywhere, in the corners, under the tables etc. It's pretty gross. People come and go through that room since it connects the real office building to the factory. The techs eat lunch there, but that's it. I'm the only one that has to be in that room 8 hours a day.

What should I do in this situation? It's a little bit sticky because my dad got me this job/works there, and quitting is not an option because I need to have a job all summer per my parents.

I know mouse droppings can be a health hazard cause of the diseases they carry. I might bring a can of Lysol to work and try to clean that room up a bit. Besides that, is there anything else I can do?

Thanks

Traps, preferably of the glue variety, placed along the wall and in corners.

Either that or bring in a pellet handgun, and sit and wait for the little buggers to make an appearance.

Those glue ones are horrible. They stick there and either chew their own legs off, or starve to death. I'd just get the instant death traps. Or those nifty electric ones that zap them.

That's the best part. It's like a warning to the other little critters to stay the hell away from that room with the torturous glue traps. :smug:
