Moving strings from one bass to another?

I switch strings a lot and haven't had any issues, unless I try to put strings from my EB-0 on my Ric!

I swap strings between basses all the time. My flats have been on countless basses over their 8-years-and-counting lifespan and I'll switch roundwounds around as well.

I constantly switching strings on 2 of my basses. It helps if you have a quick release bridge...,,
Makes the process a hole lot easier.

My jazz is a '71 player grade type thingie.... the bridge I know is aftermarket but supposedly period correct for '71...
my P is a 2015 '63 AVRI...

So the bridge type is the same right ? one dude said it's possible only if the bridges are the same...

anyways I'll try it! and regarding the 'why bother' argument - I just don't have all that much money to use a set for a week then buy anther one just to check etc... But hell she'll probably sound killer with flats so ill hope for the best
