MPU Brown bass

Although, based on the marketing hyperbole on the website, each bass is carefully "tuned" to user preference by a specific tonewood "recipe". They might as well be describing wine tasting: "notes of coriander with a fruity finish". Mostly Hogwash IMO, but they do make a gorgeous bass. I'm interminably building my own "Balance K" Fauxlembic, but went with conventional passive electronics.

That gets a 'meh' from me. I tried a Series 1 bass that looked stunning, but weighed a tonne and was completely dead, tonally. The electronics did all the lifting.

Their tone wood chat is just that annoying brown-toothed, hacky sack, faux worldly 'on the bus' Deadhead hogwash.

Apologies for diluting MPU's thread, but I consider it one of the great honours in life to be the owner of one of Marko's earlier builds.

This man's abilities leave me lost for words.

Nearest the camera.
