Me too. They're awesome basses. Worth much more than they go for cash-wise. Very well built.
Very solid bass, generally a good value. Looks like that's about $594 in US dollars today. That seems a bit high for a used passive Heir, but if it's new, I say go for it. Even though it's a big neck, it's comfortable.
I'm not aware of how available they are in the U.K. but that could be a good deal new. I'll parrot everyone else here by saying that they sound really good with the stock electronics and that your fretting hand will most likely appreciate the asymmetrical neck in the both the four and five string configurations. I'll also add that they make for an outstanding platform bass if you ever want to exercise the option to mod it. I can't say enough good things about 'em.
