Multi faceted question about horn drivers and DI's

Thanks for all the info, lots to think about.

I definitely can't consistently trust the venues we play in to treat the bass signal we send them appropriately as suggested, so we will have to be sure to send a signal they don't need to manipulate much.

I already have the HF driver in my stash, so I'll probably use it, and turn it on or off as the situation dictates.

Get a good FOH/PA style cabinet as a stage monitor
Or use IEMs
Set the DI out to post, set the eq on the pre-amp to have a smooth sound you're looking for through the stage monitor.
The stage monitor and PA can use the same DI with the smooth sound. The PS/FOH may have an balanced in/out to relay the DI signal, or there are affordable balanced splitters
