My pedal board gets simpler all the time, and now my big pedaltrain has four boxes on it. Time to try a multi fx. I'm going to use it VERY sparingly, but it has to do EXACTLY what I want.
-Most important, number one. Easy one button bypass. I don't want it in the system 90% of the time. Some of the cheaper Boss units you have to step on two buttons precisley to by pass. I'm not that co-ordinated.
-Easy access to patches. I'm not going to stomp 68 times to get from 1-69.
-Roadworthy. It will live/travel in a flightcase, so STOMPWORTHY is a better word.
-Access to single effects within a patch.
-Simple effects- envelope, reverb/delay, chorus, drive, wah. Really good comp. Maybe octave.
FAR LESS MONEY THAN A HELIX, $600 dollars ish.
