Multi - instrument wall racks

I'm making some changes to my practice space which will allow me to hang my basses up on the wall. I have 48" of space in which I'd like to hang 5 instruments, and I'm looking at this rack from String Swing. I've used their single instrument mounts in the past and liked them, but I'm curious if anyone has feedback on this model, or if there's another one you'd recommend instead.

They're great. I've had one for a few years behind the piano.

I made something similar with a 2x4 and some instrument hangers. What you've come up with looks nicer, though.

You could get maybe three instruments in the same space doing that. This unit has steel arms that extend from the wall with hangers on pivots so you can put them at angles. Very efficient for use of space.

I got this put up over the weekend, this is most of my collection. From L to R: 2002 MIM Fender P Bass "Deluxe" aka the Guitar Center exclusive model; 1999 Ibanez SR800 that I modified with passive electronics, Wilde Pickups and a series/parallel switch; 2021 Yamaha BB735A which is missing a D string because I wasn't paying attention while changing strings and I cut it too short (D'Addario is sending me a replacement); 1984 Peavey Fury mk I with a slanted Super Ferrite pickup; 2023 Squier 40th Anniversary Telecaster

The only one not on the rack is my 2024 Rickenbacker 4003W, which is on a single hook on a different wall. I thought I had a photo of it hanging up, but apparently I don't so here it is on a stand instead.

Can you tell I prefer single coil pickups?

Yeah it's ash, and it weighs a TON😂

Fender special run MiM "standard telecaster" from GC circa 2010.
Dang. I got lucky with my telecaster, it weighs about 6.5 lbs. I thought ash was supposed to be lighter than alder? My Ibanez is ash and it's fairly lightweight, but I think it has a smaller total volume of matter than my other basses, it's very "sleek".

i dunno, maybe it's alder. All I know is it weighs as much as my P bass, but is otherwise aces

Definitely not alder, the strong grain lines are a characteristic of ash. I suppose you just got a heavier piece. Classic style Telecasters also have extra material because they are straight up slabs, no tummy cut or forearm contour, so that offsets some of the weight that you save from a smaller neck.
