With a few exceptions... Rowlf the Dog, etc/ Rod hand muppets were lefties, "hands in gloves" muppets like Rowlf were righties.

He was actually a guitar player first, but the original Electric Mayhem bass player got kicked out when they finished their tour in Hamburg, early in their career. He was too wrapped up in his paintings and his girl friend to focus on the band.
