Muppets Bass player...

My "Floyd" tribute...

He was only a few hours "old" when this pic was taken, so he was still a bit shiney.....

In case no one else in this thread mentioned it, Check out the "Happy Birthday April" version of the You Tube for "Help from My Friends".

KO

Awesome! For those who don't know, Spenner was the bassist for the Grease Band, who backed up Joe Cocker at Woodstock, and a while before. The Woodstock "Help from My Friends" video is on YouTube. Beautiful bass playing on that tune. Spenner is a great player. Very melodic.

Except he used a P bass is all I've seen or heard of him. And Floyd appears to play a J. Do we have a fantasy/reality mismatch there? Or did Spenner see the light and convert to a J?

The guys over at Jim Hensons work shop should do a feature film on Electric Mayhem. They should set it in the late 1970 and show the "rise and fall" of Electric Mayhem. A parody of Spinal Tap. Then do short tour to support the film. Hell, I would love to see Electric Mayhem come to Philly. They could play The Linc. Then I would pay $200 to see them... and my wife would divorce me and I would be on the streets busking to pay my child support... ok never mind this is bad idea....
