Music Go Round deals

Buy that and a cheap patch cable. That should do it.
I looked at getting this and added a mic clip, the shipping for that was $15 on top of the $15 for the pedal. Here's my thought, I pay $31 for this pedal that sells for around $50 used...but what if there's something wrong with it? Musicgoround is horrible with returns unless you live next to one, I'd be out the $16 for the clip since there's nothing wrong with it so I can't return it...or maybe I could return it but they won't refund that $15 shipping since there's no issue, and then I have to pay to ship the broken pedal back. It's just not a smart idea I decided.

OC-2 for $60. Crazy deal!

I honestly don't know whether the price is a deal, but there's a Mike Lull P5 for $1,799.99 + $60 shipping. It is located in Fort Collins, CO for any TB'ers near the store.

I was up there last week, and gave it a whirl. I have met Mike and a nicer guy you couldn't find, and appreciate his work although I never owned a Lull bass, but have demoed a few.

The bass is really light I would guess 8lbs. and looks and feels great. The neck has some buzz and likely needs a set up. The sound was a good P bass sound, but didn't blow me away, but I am not a P bass guy.

Hope that helps anyone who is interested.

I loved the Miller bass they had there, and if would get that if I had 2k to spend.

Here is a pretty cool hand made 5 string at a very reasonable price, $660 shipped .

This was on MGR a few months ago at a store in GA, (I think.) I was curious and did some digging and found "Killer B" is the brand name for a small shop, in Arlington, TX...search the web and you will find them. This bass was custom made for the bass player in a metal band in GA. It is probably pretty rare, as they don't show any five strings on their web page. It seems their guitars have gotten some really nice reviews. To me the T-Hawk body looks like a marriage between a Telecaster and a Non Reverse Firebird/Thunderbird. I would be interested if the string spacing wasn't so narrow, but I stay away from anything less then 19mm. There are some youtube videos of this bass in action, and it sounds pretty good...it definitely can do the metal thing, but it looks like it can do a lot more.

This bass is listed as a Washburn T25. I am pretty sure that this is incorrect, as it appears to be a T35, which was a prototype that was never officially sold in the US. When the T, or Taurus, line came out, a distributor claimed that their were something like 10 produced, and had some of those on ebay. I purchased that is one identical to the one for sale here. The difference between this and most other Taurus basses is that this has gold hardware and USA made Seymour Duncan pickup and preamp, though the bass itself is made in Vietnam. This is a really good sounding and playing bass.

I wouldn't buy anything online from the crooks at the MGR in Fort Worth. I bought a bass that "had no issues" and I received a bass with mangled frets. Sure, they except returns but minus the $120 for shipping both ways. These guys are despicable criminals, they concealed the damage and misrepresented its condition and did nothing to rectify the problem. No apology, nothing. The lowest of the low. Complete slime. From what I hear this is pretty much how they all operate.
